According my experience, DO NOT USE isopropyl alcohol.
If not really, really needed!
That will cause things to stuck badly afterwards.
I use thin Mobil lock oil for parts like lock cylinders.
and for plastic/nylon parts lubrication I´ve used silicone grease (it
seems to get thinner when temperature drops!)
or ESSO Nebula EP2, which I bought from the dealer
since they recommed it to the lock mechanisms etc .
Do not use petroleum jelly, it´ll get really thick on low temperatures.
Keeping locks clean is the most important thing!
Cheers
Marko
