the newest models with ABS and that stupid heater bypass valve mounted in the hoses.
I loosen the tensioner bolt nut, move the adjusting screw out of its location and push alternator toward A/C compressor. Than I tighten the nut and get to the two lower Allen bolts with a socket and two different lenght 3/8" wobble extensioners and an air ratchet.
After that I lift off the belts and loosen the nut and remove the tensioner bolt. This allows the alternator to flip down enough so that I can reach the 12mm bolt with a 1/4" extensioner and a 12mm universal joint socket.
After that it's just a matter of sliding the alternator and bracket backwards, out and up (after electrical wires have been disconnected)
Tjolahopp tjolahej (as Pippi Longstocking would say)
