car running again

Thanks to Jerry at foriegn auto specialties (Minneapolis) the saab I own now runs. The no spark condition I copmplained about previously was caused by an unattached ground wire at the distributor. He also mentioned that quite often a condition of poor idle is caused by attaching all the ground wires at the frint lifting point to just one screw. Apparently then need to be attached separately.
I don't think that I have the shift linkage in properly. The car shifts, but roughly so. I'm reluctant to put pressure on such a new transmission - I guess I'll try to align it again tomorrow.
For now though I'm thrilled that the car works. I think I probably fixed that coolant leak as well when the engine was out - the heater again works wonderfully. Now the things to do are relatively minor - new tabs, tires, tie rod ends, voltage regulator, shocks, and maybe a set of indiglo guages for the dash.
What relief it is that it runs again. Earnest thanks goes out to all that have helped!
