Think about it- if you were a theif and wanted to get into a car, would a locked door stop you? Changing the cylinders off a junker may not be worth the effort. If you do- get the VIN from the scrap car and dealer/shop can cut new keys that fit.
I'd say the best action is no action- and I mean no: advertising; audio stickers, seperate tweets and fancey grills, and by all means - get a removable face (or mount in low slot and leave a Clarion in the top).
Most thiefs are not going after Saabs in the first place- doubt they know the seat folded on a 4-door (to disable- remove plastic latch; trunk- remove plastic acctuator from latch handle).

PS- leave a couple of 8-tracks on the front seat... that should turn some people off :)
