Hi Anders,

Yes, I had my son jumper the relay while I pulled up on the plate's center bolt with a pliers. The injectors were pulled out & laying in a bowl, & nothing came out. I didn't have the injector holes covered when we did this.

The car will fire up, but only runs for a second or two before it dies. Is the warmup regulator the one below the radiator thermostat, with the fwo fuel lines attaced to it? We believe this item has been dead ever since we bought the car in November. It used to start fine in the cold, but after a minute or two it would drop the idle very low & bob slowly up & down until it was fully warmed up. After that point, it always ran fine & had rpms around 950-1000.

The pumps both work, & all the voltages appear good. It almost seems as though the small amount of gas the 5th injector gives it is enough to fire it up. I didn't check the 5th injector again (it was working when I cleaned out the throttle body & replaced all the fuel filter & ignition parts), mostly because the problem cropped up in the middle of my 1 hr drive home & I knew it wasn't being used at that point.

I verified pressurized fuel all the way up to the fuel distributor input by loosening the fittings along up to that point. I also removed the middle fitting (radiator/engine side) on the side of the fuel distributor & ran the pump per Bentley. (I hope this fitting, which is the largest of the three & is marked with an exit arrow, is the fuel return line.) No fuel came out of the fuel distributor, but it did gurgle out of the detached line.

Thanks for the help.
