Our situations are even more similar than you think. I currently have a '00 9-5 Aero that I bought CPO only a year ago. However, now that I'm looking to buy a home/condo I don't want my $450/mo payments for the next four years, so I'm going to sell my 9-5 next month & pay cash for used C900. Not having that huge monthly car payment greatly increases my home-buying power.
If anyone's looking for a nice '00 Aero I'll have it posted in the classifieds in a week or two: Imola Red, BBS RKII, 58K miles, w/ warranty out to 100K/April '06, just put on new tires & performed 60K service. Nothing wrong, except the car payments.
