The hoses are made of rubber and are the same as the ones found under the hood. A quick way of testing these is to locate the actuator pump in front drivers fender just behind the turn signal. There should be a white orfice that is open and a hose right next to it. If you remove this one hose and suck on it you should see your throttle start to open. If you can easily pull air through this hose this is the leak you are looking for! In this case and you still can not find the leak this can be done by pinching off the hose at differant points allong the way until you find the leak. If you can move the throttle and hold it with the hose then your vacuem is fine. Additionally if there is resistance on the hose but the throttle does not move then you should check the chain at the top of the gas pedal. Hope this helps.
