I mean the car is 12 years old. 3 more years and its a classic! You would have quickly noticed problems 1 and 2 if you had test driven the car. Why didn't you? Problems 1 and 3 are typical to SAABS. 3 out of the 5 900's that I own have flakey odometers. Just live with it. They all eventually need inner drivers, and buying a 121k 900 with an automatic is always a risk. Being a saabet user, you should have already known that. Fortunately for you, the slow 2-3 shift is most likely due to the bands being out of adjustment in your transmission. You need to take it to a good independent SAAB shop and get it adjusted sooner rather than later. It will make it shift properly, and cost only a couple hours labor and two gaskets. There is a special tool you need to do it, so take it to someone who knows older SAABs. Have them replace your inner driver while its there, and you'll have a nice car.
