The cooling is fine with 134. Better than the average 9000. But to get good temps the conversion must be done right. Search on the 9000 board- Robert Kaplan is the AC expert over there. Everything will be equally applicable to the 900.

To me it was worth it because the 134 is cheap and available everywhere. It is A LOT of work though. You don't want to use one of those little kits that just fills it up. You need to take everything apart and flush it and empty the old oil and replace the dryer. Not a terrible job, but it takes time to do it right. An AC shop would have a machien to do the flush for them.

You can fill and charge it yourself, but the tools you need are not cheap. I was doing several cars, so I just bought the tools, but for one car it's not worth it.
