I have to smile at your post .. people always make fun of mine;)
The C900 engine is flipped round. The flywheel is near the radiator the water pump etc is near the firwall.
So if the drip is coming from between the firewall and the engine I'd bet on the pump.
You can get one .. and belts! .. from one of the sponsors cheap.
It's not bad to do. The hard bit can be getting the AC/Comp and bracket off. I think all the later ones have the slotted bottom hole that makes it easy. Trying to take out the compressor Torx bolts is a real pain .. you don't need to do this if you take the bracket and compressor off together.
Obviously you just pull it to one side ... not decompress the whole AC system!
Spend plety of time cleaning off the old gasget. You wouldn't normally change the other gasket on the "front" side of the water pump housing, even though one comes in the kit.
