Swapping Inner Drivers side-to-side question Posted by Paul [Email] (#792) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Paul) on Tue, 4 Oct 2005 07:29:27 In Reply to: Re: CV Joint Diagnosis, DougM [Profile/Gallery] , Mon, 3 Oct 2005 20:13:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've seen the suggestion about swapping Inner Drivers side-to-side in a number of places. I've also seen what I believe was a big red flag warning about only having one Inner Driver removed at a time to support the position of some other internal component. If I understand these two points there seems a conflict in that it would be necessary to remove both Inner Drivers in order to swap side-to-side.
I'm surely mis-interpreting here, any help? Thanks.
If I do swap side-to side, are there other parts I should have on hand that make sense to replace? Bearings, seals, o-rings?
