i realy have no clue as to what a alternator fan would be..... oop i think it would be something like the on the back of the alternator, but thats strange to cuz with the alternator is bolted in.. it would not move, even hitting a pot-hole and if theres a switch near the alternator well it should be bolted down to, but im sure its not any-thing like that, just something real cool to tell you what you dont want to hear,
the only thing i come up with is when they did your motor-mount they filled your breaks system full of air, or drained out some break fluid and replaced it with trans-fluid, yes, to make thigs wores you left you car in there care for them to smash and bash on it.. so you will keep commen back looken to hear another tall tail, if i may advise you to go pick up your car, and bring it to someone that knows how to take care of it. im sure if you post here where a gr8 saab maniac is in your area you will hear of some-.. oh wait did i mean to say mechanic.. hahaha
one last thing, you do have a lock on you gas tank cap, and i know you kept the key to open it, if not you should get one, if just for the peace of mind. if your car dont run tow it to someone else. u-haul rents little tow trailers you can get for way cheap.
