Where to check for power steering fluid leaks? Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Sat, 30 Sep 2006 17:50:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1987 900 turbo convertible. I've had a power steering fluid leak for a few months that's progressively getting worse. I don't drive the car often since it's a fair weather only car. I did an oil change today and while I was under the car I was looking for the source of the power steering fluid leak and couldn't find anything. I even removed the resevoir to make sure the connections on the underside weren't leaking.
Any suggestions? Do the seals in the rack just inherently leak as they age? Car has 99,600 miles.
