On my 83 T I converted to 16V and kept CIS (this is in the mid 90's)... I used a combo of 2 sets of CIS fuel distributor --> injector lines from older Audis -- I believe (I could be wrong) that Audi Coupes, Audi 80's used the CIS... also VW Fox maybe? But anyway, I went way back when to a junkyard, got a total of maybe 8 lines from a few Audis and they worked perfectly.. I did have a prob with one hitting the hood and rattling, but tie wraps took care of that. They were braided stainless on the exterior (and MUCH better than the original plastic lines, which I broke at the rate of about 1 every other oil change).
