A couple of things I'd probably check to attack this:
1) Replace alternator ground strap. I think the Saab ones are wimpy as stock -- I ground up to the A/C mounting bracket with a ground strap from a saab 9000. It's heavy gauge.
2) Check the ground on the front frame member, just aft of the radiator draincock. Even if it looks good, I'd unbolt, clean & refit. Careful not to strip this one -- it's easy to do.
3) Check connections at the alternator and the starter.
4) If your positive or negative battery cables look at all marginal, replace them. Eeuroparts makes their own + cable that works great, is better than stock and waaay cheaper.
Hopefully that does the trick. I'd say your problem points to bad / marginal grounds somewheres...
