Headlight relay shouldn't cause a non-start problem. Since you have spark, next you should verify whether you have fuel.
Fuel pump doesn't run to prime itself before cranking the engine. So one way to tell is fuel smell at tailpipe. Or take out a plug after cranking to see if it's wet with fuel. Besides, that also verifies that the injectors are firing. It's possible the fuel pump runs but the injectors don't fire.
Check the cluster of ground wires at the thermostat. They can corrode inside their insulation or inside the swage of the connectors.
