Not sure what the glue is, assume it's that stuff commonly sold in tubes for re-attaching trim, made by 3M.
I have been working at it every so often, popping it off car with one of those throwaway plastic putty knives, but it's hard going and it's taken a few chunks out of the blade.
I do have a can of the 3M adhesive and wax remover, will try that.
Also have a heat gun, will try it on a low setting.
Trim itself doesn't matter, I have several strips I pulled off junkyard cars.
I'll report if I find magic results with anything.
