I may have missed it, but did you say anything about fuel pressure? have you installed a gauge on the car to determine you have sufficient pressure to make the injectors and everyone happy? Just a thought. also, if you are concerned about the signal to the pump you can make a jumper and plug 12V directly into it. I've used that for 1) trouble shooting the pump and 2) I had an issue with the connectors above the, follow this closely, hood release handle. the signal to energize the pump was intermitent and we gave up for a month and just jumped the pump to drive, and then disconnected the jumpers. there are three connectors there that take inside wires to the area under the fuse block on the drivers fender well. I've had, on two cars, an intermitent connection on the center connector, run your hand up grab it and pull towards the middle of the car while wiggling to disconnect, the plug back on, repeat three times to clean contacts well (by rubbing them on and off) and test. may be a red herring but it's free!
