Haven't seen it mentioned here, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
The following materials cover the liners for the roof and C-pillars:
Headliner material, $10/yard at Hancock Fabrics, 3 yards
DAP Weldwood Contact Cement, 16-oz can, ~$5/can at wally world, 1-2 cans
Cheap paint brushes, 1-2 inches wide, less than $1 at wally world
1. Clean the old stuff off the liners with a wire brush. Gently!
(Do the next steps OUTSIDE. The fumes from the contact cement can kill lots of brain cells.)
2. Lay the headliner on a table.
3. Position two yards of the material on top of the headliner so the overhang looks good.
4. Throw a couple of clean old shirts on the back half of the material (shirts won't dent the foam) and then roll the front half over the back half.
5. Paint a swath of contact cement across the headliner between the openings for the sunroof and the dome light.
6. Paint a corresponding swath on the headliner foam. Need a light touch here.
7. Let it sit 15 minutes.
8. Align, press.
I repeat those steps about four times to finish the headliner. I do the front half, then the back half, then all the edges. Then I flip it over and do the edges where the material comes around to the top side. Trim off excess edges here, except for the sunroof opening. (I wait until I get the headliner installed in the car, then I open the sunroof and cut the material from the TOP side. See headliner FAQ on this site.)
Do the C-pillar liners the same way.
Sunroof liner can be repaired in a similar fashion.
Finally, and this is important, let the liners cure for a few days in the garage or somewhere else besides in the car. You do not want to inhale those fumes. It's better to put up with the excess noise for a few days than to try to explain to the EMTs about the huge bats that were swooping and screeching and diving around the car.
Good luck.
