0 volts at the fuel pump fuse.
I took the relay out of an old car which had no dash, piece of cake. It appears to be a standard automotive spdt relay, which I have brand new ones of as well.
My hands are not small enough to get the old relay out of the car I am fixing. I removed the ECU for easier access, and still can't wiggle the old relay out. Now I am trying to get the lower dash pad off for access, but it doesn't want to come off. I have removed the center console and the three bolts (two behind the fenders, one behind the ashtray), and the lower dash pad still won't come off. I also removed the steering wheel bottom plastic piece. The lower dash pad is slightly loose at the bottom, but not at the top, perhaps it's held by the upper dash somehow?
I am cursing the person who though it was a good idea to put important electronics behind the dash. I mean, relays are meant to be changed, if not they would be soldered in instead of in sockets, and they are impossible to get to. Other places like under the back seat or in the engine bay are much nicer places for wiring than behind the dash! I curse people who put vacuum hoses that rot out behind the dash too.
