no its not the traling arm or spring link
OK imagine looking up underneath your car at the spring - at the bottom the spring sits on the spring link and and as you look up at the top of spring you will see it sits on a seat, basically a platform, that is bolted or welded to the frame of the car - this platform or seat extends towards the back - it is not part of the vehicle body but is separate.
well that platform can bend - and mine is a bit on the right side - left side is ok. when it bends it can only bend so far before hitting the car body and then it stops and can't go any further - but its travel is enough to cause 1 inch drop which I corrected using twist in spacers
so i'm wondering what people do to remedy this? wedge something in there?
I am betting a lot of people who post about sagging rear ends probably have bent sets (no laughing please).
