driver's side cold? have you replaced any bulbs? there is a plastic accordian pipe that connects from the hard plastic supply line below, and often gets knocked off during operations with the speaker (which is also the defroster baffle) as in bulbs, cruise control fix, new speakers etc.
you can look through the windshield with a strong flashlight and see if the accordian tube is in place, a at night or in a dark garage works best for me, check one side against the other to see.
if the accordian is off, you will need to pull the speaker grill off, again look through the windshield with flashlight, this time down the opening to find the black plastic accordian tube, fish it out, strech like you were playing an accordian, and refit.
