You need to locate the cut away diagram on this site or in Bentley's showing the location of all vacuum servos.
I am going out on a limb here and will suggest that left control servo is not moving the left control flap and not allowing heat to flow to the left hand side vent. If you have already checked that the accordion tube in the left speaker location is in place AND there is actually air moving through the tube then either a hose has been knocked off the servo OR the servo itself is malfunctioning. My diagram shows one servo actuating both the right and the left flaps - so if one is working and the other is not then the problem may lie with the flap connection at the servo. You should be able to access it by removing the lower bolster and then lying on your back see up through the dash area AND through the stereo hole.
If you fiddled with the stereo and/or replaced speakers then then you may have moved something around. The heat distributor switch can also come loose and you need to verify it is in proper position as well
