Yes the first thing I did when this "bucking" started was replace the distributor rotor. I replaced the fuel when I swapped out the fuel pump about 6 months ago. I tried swapping out the spark magnifier with two used "spares" but got no fire as they were either bad or the turbo type. It was hard to compare numbers as the "spares" were Bosch and the one on the car is HUGO. I will have to go to my other location and look for more spark magnifiers. The weather is cold again. I am going to see if I can get the symptoms to resurface today. I am beginning to suspect the hall sensor at the crank. I had two other 2.1's that started stopping when they got normally heated to operating temp. It was the hall sensor both times. It would seem to me that the fuel pump I scavanged from the 94 vert is fine, but that the 2.1 liter engine uses a higher pressure regulator, but the fuel pressure isn't any higher than 46 PSI and though the book says 43.5 for non turbo's with the fuel pump running and engine off using the 27/30 fuse wire trick. I don't think the 2.5 psi extra is the issue. With the engine running the fuel pressure at idle is 35 and book says 34.8 #'s psi. I get brief raises in psi to 40 PSI when I rev the engine. The fuel check valve is bad as the internal parts and end cap are gone. have a new one on the way. It is cold today. I am going to take a 30 minute run on the interstate and see if I can get the problem to happen. Thanks Frank
