No, it is not. The clearances basically have everything stacked inside the next piece.
Even with the spacer installed, to pull the slave, it has to come out of the transmission housing, towards the pressure plate, and there isn't enough room to twist anything out that way.
It is usually recommended that any time one needs to repair the clutch, that ALL pieces are renewed at the same time. For a long time, Saab sold Clutch 'kits' which included everything from the pilot bearing to the slave, except for the bolts. You swapped it all out, and didn't have to worry about your clutch for another 150k or so.
