Was much easier than I expected! Used the tire iron from the toolkit along with a large screwdriver and was able to twist it right off. Didn't break either check valve or anything. Ordered the single barb replacement insert along with fuel filter kit and retaining ring o-ring. Does not look like there was an o-ring on there though. I will have to look again. My garage is going to stink for a few days until parts show up from eeuro.
