remove the headlight? you did get all 3 mounting points right? two on front of headlight bracket and the one down below mounted on the bumper extension/frame rail?
you shouldn't need to have to do anything to wiper arm/blade other than fold it away from the headlamp as far as i'm aware. i suppose you could take the arm off to give you a smidge more room but i don't think you need to.
as far as clips go, if you're asking about the black boot/socket, those just screw on to the back of the lens once you have the adjuster rod out of the way. you insert the little white socket/clip into the black sleeve and make sure it sits flush in the sleeve. then push the adjuster ballheads into that white plastic socket. it is a tight fit, so press straight down, and make sure you have the lamp on a solid surface.
make sure all 3 are seated securely, and you're good to go. if you live in a rust belt area, i'd probably put a little grease on the threads of the adjusters to make sure they don't rust up. i also put a very light coat of vaseline on the adjuster ball head to make sure that moves easily in the socket.
re-attach the 3 mounting points for the headlamp, install your bulb (keep fingers off bulb surface), re-mount the sidemarker lamp (keep nuts on the two posts for sidemarker, just loosen them off so you can slide it back into slots on fender. you don't even need to undo the bulbs on the sidemarker, just let it dangle as you're working on headlamp. aim your headlights and roar off into the darkness of the night!
mark :-)
