If the V groove is spot on on the intake, it is probably wrong and needs to be moved one tooth. With that setting, you will probably come closer to the exhaust cam that sounds to be two teeth off.
Which way have you stretched the chain? Or do you have the tensioner already installed?
You can remove the tensioner and move the chain one tooth at the time by lifting it a turning the camshaft at the same time.
