85 900S brake issues

I'm having some issues with my 1985 Saab 900S nonturbo. I bought it in July with about 186,000 miles and it's just shy of 190,000 now. When I bought it, the guy told me he thought there might be a brake fluid leak as he had to fill the brake fluid reservoir every month or so.
I took it to get inspected and they told me the brake master cylinder needed replacing due to a leak and they bled the brakes to give it hydraulic pressure. I didn't see any leak and didn't replace the BMC and it's held up since (I have the part, just haven't installed it) and the brakes have worked fine. I've filled up the brake fluid reservoir twice since July.
This morning I went out to start my car, it had been about eight hours since driving it last, and the brake pedal went straight to the floor inexplicably. After turning the car off and pumping the brake, I was able to regain brake pressure but it was lost as soon as I turned the car on again. There is brake pressure, but it's very weak and requires a lot of force to bring the car to a stop and the pedal is at the very bottom of the floor. With that being said, I have not been driving it.
I'm wondering now what the issue could be. When braking, the car does veer to the left slightly, but I'm thinking it may be the vacuum booster that needs replacing. When driving the car and coming to a stop, if you pump the brakes you can regain the brake pressure and have the car stop but all of the pressure is lost as soon as it's put into first gear and you accelerate. Could it be the vacuum booster and brake master cylinder, or is it likely just one or the other? Is there a good way to diagnose this issue? Or could it be something like a leak in the brake lines.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
