Iâve been driving c900's since 1984, and currently have a 1993-S as a daily driver and a 1990 SPG that Iâm restoring. Weâre getting ready to move to Texas, but if the occasional hot day above 85 degrees here in Rhode Island is any indication, these A/C systems wonât be able to hack the 4-6 months of 90-100 degrees Texas will bring. (My tech says Iâm right; the fact that they are converted makes them even worse; that the 9000's are a little better but not by much; and that Iâll have to get a 9-5 to have decent enough A/C.) SO: Is he right? OR: Do yâall anywhere down there in the hot south know of some tricks or mods that can be done to save me from dumping my favorite cars of all time????????
