When I moved out to Vegas summer was 110 deg. 87c900 charged w/R12 worked as good as an 89 Olds. I was surprised. Creeping in 30 mph heavy traffic neither was cold, but they cooled the car so it was not bad. On road c900 was good. Make sure everything is in good working order. Have a good Texas A/C guy check it when you get there.
