The stuttering/stall/no-start in hot weather points to a bad ignition control module. If it's not that, my next suspect would be the Hall sensor in the distributor. Some people say to spray the module with some compressed air in a can, which comes out really cold, to test: if car dies, spray module, if start, then that's the problem.

If you have access to a used module, just swap it out. You can buy a new cheap-o one that won't last (in my experience), or a new spendy one made by Bosch that will; eeuroparts.com is a good place to buy from.

You can also put any used module in from any c900 Turbo (it MUST be a Turbo -- NO non-turbo modules in your Turbo) '89 and newer (in other words, equipped with Jetronic LH2.4). (You can most likely use one from any Jetronic LH2.4-equipped 9000, too.) You can use earlier Turbo modules, too, except they have a different heatsink and so you would need to deal with that. Look up the part for you car on eEuro for a complete cross-reference list.
