Watch Out! I had my 87/900t hit on the driver rear quarter panel and driver door and bent rear axle. Insurance company totaled the car because they claim if the repair totals 70% of the cars value, they call it a lost. I had full coverage on the car. Took the claim to the Insurance commissioner of Delaware. Found out the commissioner really just work in favor of the Insurance company, regardless of me having full (fools) coverage. I didn't settle for 9 months with them. The insurance company said they needed to come a get the car, take it 80 miles a way to their impound and inspect it. Just another ploy to dangle the car in front of me. Didn't let them take my car. Two years later I replaced the door and had the quarter panel replaced and I replaced the rear axle since the other car had bent it. Back on the road again. When They tried increasing my insurance due to the accident being my fault, which I told them it wasn't, they quickly dismissed it and offered me the have full (Fools) coverage again. And I thought is was the driver trying to do insurance fraud. Don't settle for Kelly Blue Book value and save all repair and part slip/receipts. If you don't drive you classic cars too much, find a classic car insurance company. The only other loop hole to get compensated for your loses is to sue for personal loses. Damn Cheating Insurance Companies
