When I bought my '67 Fleetwood I spoke with a few AGP-type insurers and asked them all the same battery of questions about the policy. They were all very clear that in the event the car is totalled, they pay the policy and that's that. I work for a law firm and deal frequently with insurance companies trying to save a buck - I'm going to pose the question to some of the attorneys here and see if they have any experience with this sort of thing. I probably should have asked them before I bought. ;) FWIW, I got my policy through Leland West, as they're just down the street from our other office. Seemed like good insurance insurance. :D
