with WD-40, compressed air, and sun, you may want to put something in the cylinders just so they don't surface rust.
you can use motor oil to fill in the area between the top of rings and top of piston, and then use fogging oil to coat the walls of the cylinders. re-install the plugs, and you should be ok.
the other option would be to fill the cylinders with oil, but then you have to crank the engine to get the most of that out which could get messy. or turn engine upside down to dump the cylinder oil. once you start it again, it will smoke a little until the oil is burned off.
