I've been looking a bit too. Aside from visible surface rust, get under there and check the front A-arm mounting points, floor pans, etc. Check the A-arms from the engine bay too. Steering racks tend to fail and I think they're a project, so check for leaks. Try reversing up a slight incline. If it pops out of reverse you've got some transmission work to do. I think there may be an easy fix for that though. Then there's the obvious stuff like cracked dashes and separating seat stitching.
That's about all I've been looking out for. I'm sure there's more though.
