Oh to be sure you'd have a fun car, and sure, you could shock the sox of the Dodge Charger guy, but it just would't be pure.Taking that off ramp might be a hassle.Just last week I put new tires on my 88 SPG. The others were dry rotten and whatever when I bought her about 2 years ago. Thought the rough ride at 75 was something major like axils or tie rod ends, but seldom use it but back to work and back or around town a mile or two. New tires, had to try a ride on the interstate. 2 mile ride between exits without pushing was 108 mph.I had previously experienced some break down in fuel or ignition on daily drive to work. Had bought expensive plugs and wires, but had not had time to install them. Filled tank with 87 octane added 104 octane booster and on that one ride had no stuttering missing or any other issues except fear. Think I could have gotten the 125 from odometer had I been willing to take a hit to my CDL; if caught. I'm thinking 125 mph from a 4 cyl is better than the same speed from a 8 cyl any day. SAAB PRIDE. Is there anything better! Thats why we meet here.
