I had exactly that happen, the ratchet foot broke and was lost somewhere. The tensioner was also pretty "new" so that's why I didn't check it for a while. It may have been a scantech tensioner, I don't remember. I had to replace it quickly so I went to the dealer and got a new one that's been in there for 5+ years.
