A local wrecker has a 1994 900 Turbo convertible, which has the original Saab Guard alarm including an original key fob with the crystal.
Am I correct to assume these 3 points?
1) Installation of the "brain" is plug-n-play (assume under the rear seat?)
2) In order to properly lock/unlock the drivers door with the keyless entry portion of the alarm, I would need the lock actuator motor from the drivers door of the donor car (is there a wire hanging there in my car to accept it?) Without this motor, keyless entry would only lock/unlock the pass. door and rear hatch?
3) I assume I would have to run a wire from the brain, out to the siren which would be mounted down under the passengers headlight??
I'd really like the keyless entry fasset of the alarm, but WILL NOT go accessory. Its SAAB-issue or nothing, so the original dealer accessory alarm that many 1993-1994 cars came with originally, is very appealing.
