Keep in mind replacing the regulator can be a real PIA if you don't pull the alternator, at least that has been my experience. And a voltage regulator is not worth replacing by itself if you pull the alternator, which is a huge PIA. I ordered a reman alt. for a hundred bucks and put it on 5 years ago with zero trouble. For what it's worth
