question that I haven't been able to get an answer to . If an spg was totaled , how much would an adjuster factor in undercarriage rust/rot if the car was otherwise in good condition . Would it cause a very large drop in the totaled value , a small drop (say 10%) , or would most adjusters not even notice it considering its under the car ? To be more clear , I'm not referring to rot that would cause definitive and present safety issues such as the A-arm mount surface being severely compromised . I understand that any rot can be considered somewhat of a safety issue in certain points of view . Thanks in advance for your expert opinion .
