Yep the Borg-Warner T37 automatic transaxle in the C900 requires type F but, as snowmobile says, the automatic transmission in your 9-5 is totally different, probably made by Asin-Warner (the joint venture of BW and Toyota as I recall) and most likely requires some version of Dexron or even something entirely different. I stopped learning about Saab transmissions when the NG cars came out so your indy probably knows better than I do. For what it's worth your owner's manual will tell you what the correct fluid is and it may also be marked on the dipstick.
