motor & trans transplant Posted by MdDog50 [Email] (#798) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MdDog50) on Mon, 25 Jun 2012 20:12:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I had an 89 900T, 5 speed, non-ABS that lost its fight with rust. Have swapped motor and trans into a 91 900T, auto, w/ABS.
(1)The clutch and brake pedals don't match up using the pedal frame from the 89. Do i need a frame from a 91(or newer)900, 5 speed, w/ABS and/or pedals from a 91 or newer car?
(2)The clutch slave cylinder - is there a difference beween 89 and 91? Parts listings show the same from 1979 to 1994 but thought i'd ask.
(3)The front motor mount is different on the 91 from the 89, i'm still looking for the right match but i'm not clear when i check the parts sites which one i need. TIA for any help Mike
