Not one of my favorite DIY projects. Getting the new unit back in was tough. Unbolted the motor mount and jacked up the engine to gain clearance. Be careful not to tweek your linkage. Best to silicone the lower bracket grommet so it doesn't fall out. Scratched the snot out of my inner fenderwell on install. Not easy to transfer the pully to new pump. Our favorite site sponsor & parts supplier sent me a 9000 pump, had to take pictures of the larger shaft to substantiate my return. Like a steering rack, this job is best when you have a good lift to work from the bottom.
......Then again I've only done one.
