New nozzles & Running washers independently of wipers

For anyone who likes the idea of running their windshield washer system without triggering the automatic three sweeps from the wipers, I will tell you the modification is super easy. Remove your wiper relay from behind the knee bolster. Bend off the metal tab in the T position. Reinstall relay and boom, no more triggering of the wipers when washing the windshield. Allows you to decide how much fluid is necessary to clean the windshield before starting the wipers. Does not change the intermittent function or the headlight wiper system. I have the VW relay in my car so the photo below is of that one.
Also just installed two wiper nozzles from a subaru forester after reading about this mod in another post. I was able to install them without any trimming using some force (hit them with a rubber screwdriver handle). I'm still in the testing phase but they do appear to work better than the bug eyes in my opinion. The angle of the spray isn't quite high enough so I turned the nozzles slightly outward. This caused the spray to reach the corners of the windshield and cover more in general. The true test will come this ski season but the preliminaries look good.
