After numerous checks and double checks we added a resistor to the temp sensor in the head that reads temp as car warms up and reduces 'richness' of fuel mix from 'cold start' to prescribed mix for emisions.
I don't remember what amount of resistance worked, but it wasn't much.
Have you checked the resistance at the temp sensor at full operating temp ? Ours checked to be correct, but NOX was still too great.
Resistance added enrichens mix and gets cat to run at higher temp I think.
Have you checked temp at cat ? I believe that even with a new cat the temp needs to reach a certain point to get full 'reductions'.
