Bill, did this last week. One thing is I don't think you need to remove the pins, BUT make sure you position the flywheel so the pins are at about one o'clock and five o'clock. That should give enough of an opening to keep the disc from hanging up on the pins. If you feel you need to insert the pressure plate tool in a little deeper you can depress the plate with a 2' ABS plumbing coupler from the hardware store. I do using the Saab jack. Position the PP under the car jack point on something like plywood or cardboard face down. Put the ABS coupler on the fingers and use the jack to depress the fingers until you have the tool in deeper.
