Oil Leak from Rear (or is it Front) of Engine Posted by SaabAficionado [Email] (#758) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SaabAficionado) on Wed, 28 Nov 2012 15:40:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Got an oil leak that has gotten progressively worse and is now leaking a small puddle after I park. I replaced the front crank pulley and all seals a couple years ago and there is no oil leak on that side of the engine. It's coming from the back of the engine, which, unless I'm mistaken, is the part of the engine closest to the front bumper. I must admit that the leak really seemed to start after I overfilled the crankcase like a dope and didn't notice it for a hundred miles or so. The engine is totally sound otherwise,
Oh, and it is definitely engine oil
