Yup, the rear of the engine is in the front like a '30s Cord.
How old is the distributor O-ring? On my '89, the O-ring had hardened to be like plastic. Replaced it with a new one, and an annoying years-old oil leak stopped immediately. One down, a dozen to go. (C900s like to mark their territory with hydrocarbons.)
