AOK, understood that the SAAB lifters are hydraulic and auto adjusted. Ineed, the Volvo 8V and shim on bucket that must be changed with cam change/valves lapped.
Would OEM valve stem seals need replaced with stock cams? Or do they wear like iron, no real oil leakage by getting to the pistons? I've never noticed any blue smoke front the tail pipe.....but while I'm in this far, if this is a routine service replacement I would have it done if prudent.
